In the first-year preparatory class you reach academic language proficiency with expert Russian instructors, studying in small groups of 8–12. Students then start their undergraduate or graduate degree the next year. In addition, many programs are offered 100% in English.
Pre-registration is actively open for this academic year. Because demand keeps increasing, we recommend that candidates who have made their decision complete pre-registration early to benefit from early-registration advantages.
Yes. Russian universities provide dormitories for all foreign students — typically rooms for 2–4 people with kitchen, bathroom and internet. We can handle dormitory registration, and renting a flat is also an option, though we recommend the dormitory during the preparatory year.
Once your documents are ready, you pre-register through Sky Education or a partner agency. We handle the invitation, visa, tracking and flight organization. Students travel in groups, are welcomed by our education consultants on arrival, and receive one-on-one support until they are fully settled.
The Russian Federation grants scholarships to 30,000 foreign students every year. You can find detailed information from the Russian science and culture centers in your country.
Yes. Foreign students may work in Russia with a Russian language certificate — generally after the preparatory year — as long as it does not interfere with their studies.
Undergraduate programs such as business and engineering usually take 4 years. Medicine lasts 6 years, while dentistry and pharmacy last around 5 years. Timings may vary by university and department.
The foundation (preparatory) program application deadline is September 30. The first course without a preparatory year has a deadline of June 30.
